Baggage Rules

Baggage allowances vary by airline, route, fare class, and loyalty tier. Below are general guidelines based on typical allowances. Always check your e-ticket or airline website for the exact allowance applicable to your booking.

Business & First Class

Business class passengers typically enjoy 32–40 kg check-in allowance and 2 cabin bags up to 18 kg. First class passengers typically receive 40–50 kg check-in and priority handling. Always verify with your specific airline and fare class.

Special Items

• Sports Equipment: Declared separately. Fees apply — usually ₹1,500–₹5,000 per piece on domestic routes.
• Musical Instruments: Must be declared. Soft instruments may travel as cabin baggage; larger instruments may require a separate seat purchase.
• Medications: Carry doctor's prescription for liquid medications over 100ml in cabin baggage.
• Liquids (Cabin): Each container max 100ml, all containers in a transparent resealable bag (1L max) per passenger.
• Lithium Batteries / Power Banks: Only in cabin baggage. Max 100Wh per cell. Above 100Wh requires airline approval.

Terms & Conditions

By booking a package, tour, or any travel service through CFF Travels, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any payment.

1. Booking & Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of the full deposit (minimum 25% of package cost, or as otherwise specified). A booking confirmation voucher will be emailed within 24 hours of payment. Bookings are non-transferable unless agreed in writing.

2. Pricing & Payments

• All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) or US Dollars (USD) as specified at the time of booking.
• Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is fully confirmed and deposit received.
• Full payment must be received at least 30 days before departure (or as specified for the package).
• CFF Travels accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, RuPay, UPI, and bank transfers.
• GST and applicable taxes are included in quoted prices unless stated otherwise.

3. Passport, Visa & Entry Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity and all required visas. CFF Travels provides visa assistance but cannot guarantee visa approval, which remains at the discretion of the relevant embassy or consulate. No refund will be given for visa rejections unless visa cost is insured.

4. Health & Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all trips. CFF Travels is not liable for medical expenses, trip cancellation costs, or losses arising from the absence of travel insurance. Travel insurance is available as an add-on to all packages.

5. Our Liability

CFF Travels acts as an intermediary between you and service providers (airlines, hotels, transport operators). While we take every care in selecting reputable partners, we cannot be held liable for acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

6. Changes by CFF Travels

We reserve the right to make minor changes to itineraries due to operational requirements. In the event of significant changes, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered an alternative or full refund.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent. Please read carefully before booking.

Standard Cancellation Charges (Package Tours)

Flight Cancellations

Flight cancellations are subject to the respective airline's cancellation policy. Low-cost carriers (IndiGo, SpiceJet, etc.) may be 100% non-refundable on promotional fares. Full-service airlines typically allow cancellations with a fee. CFF Travels will facilitate the cancellation and refund process but is bound by the airline's decision.

Hotel Cancellations

Hotels have varying cancellation windows — typically 24–72 hours for non-peak periods and 7–30 days for peak/festive seasons. Properties such as resort hotels and holiday villas may require non-refundable deposits. Hotel-specific policies will be communicated at the time of booking.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. Card refunds may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear on your statement depending on your bank.

Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, war), CFF Travels will endeavour to provide the maximum possible refund or credit note for future travel, in accordance with supplier policies.
